Yes — it is one of the most common jobs we do in Edinburgh. We dismantle the treadmill in the room first, separating the deck, the motor housing and the console, then carry the sections down individually. That protects the stair, the bannister and your back. There is no stair surcharge; it is built into the quote.

Yes. We dismantle trampolines in the garden — frame, springs, mat and safety net — and take the lot away. The steel frame goes to scrap metal recycling. If it has rusted solid or been damaged in a storm we will cut it down on site, so no need to try dismantling it yourself first.

Beyond that, cardio equipment goes through WEEE recycling because of the motors and control boards, and steel frames and weight plates go to a scrap metal processor. Very little ends up in landfill.
